Dear Sir,
My name is Karanam L. Ramakumar, a resident of Mumbai. Please pardon me for my audacity.
I have the following queries:
1. Lord Shiva’s response to Ma Parvthi’s query: kEnOpAyEna vishNornaam sahasrakam..........”:
Sri Raama Raama RaamEti ramE raamE manOramE
Sahasranaam tattulayam Raama naama varaananE
Sir, what does ramE mean?
What do the words in blue colour mean? Do they refer to Ma Parvathi? If that is indeed so, then is it Raama naama or Raama naamam
In othe rwords is it Sahasranaama tattulayam Raama naamam varaananE?
2. Is the word Daasarathi refers only to Sri Raama? Could we use the word for other sons of Dasaratha?
3. If Dasartha were to have a daughter, is “Daasarathi” could be used to refer to her?
4. If Draupadi refers to daughter of king Drupada, what is the equivalent word for son of King Drupada? Should we call Drshtyadumna as Draupada?
राजन्या राजकन्यास्चाप्यानयन्त्वभिषेचनं
षष्टे च त्वां तथा काले द्रौपद्युपगमिष्यति
Above verse is from Udyoga Pavam and Sri Krishna’s advice to Karna. Could we interpret the word Draupadyugamishyathi as referring to Drshtadyumna and not Draupadi (I am not sure about the gender and number of the verb)?
Thank you very much sir and with regards,
Ramakumar

Dear Mr. Ramachander,
I am really touched and impressed by the amount of work you have put in which will surely be useful to the future generations. Right now I am visiting my kids in the US and if you have no objection, my husband and I would like to meet with you when we come to Bangalore next. I would really value this meeting as I would love to gain more knowledge from you.
This is just a clarification that I seek and is not for picking faults!
The clarification I seek is on the Vishnu stotra. We have been reciting the Vishnu Invocation as follows :
'Shuklaambaradharam Devam/[Vishnum], Shashi Varnam Chatur Bhujam,Prasanna Vadanam Dhyaayet, Sarva Vighnopa Shantaye'
as against that given by you- which is
'Shuklam Baradaram Vishnum, Sasi Varnam Chatur Bhujam,
Prasanna Vadanan Dyayet, Sarva Vignoba Sandaye
As there is a little difference I thought I would ask you to explain as you must be having access to the Sanskrit source.
I only hope you don't take it amiss. I have come to understand that any changes in pronouncing can alter the meaning. I am also of the opinion that the Almighty understands when we do make mistakes but still we ought to try to be as much precise as we can.
I HOPE YOU RESPOND TO THIS.
Warm regards
Mangala Kilpadi
PS
I am not aware of the difference in the options-standard & visual so I am sending it in standard format
